Each of the 193 member countries of the United Nations is tasked with contributing to the achievement of the 169 targets outlined in the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
These goals operate at the environmental, economic, and social levels, incorporating sustainability into an integrated vision of various dimensions of development that engage all segments of society.
Each country is required to define its own strategy for sustainable development and subject itself to monitoring by the United Nations.
The Italian 2030 agenda focuses on eco-sustainable regeneration, territorial mobility, energy transition, improving the quality of life, and adopting a circular economy. The central focus is on people, with the aim of promoting healthy and balanced lifestyles.
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:
