In via Giuseppe Parini 9 - Corsico (MI), in the residential area of the historic center, there is an important condominium, subjected to the energy redevelopment of the building system - plant. The interventions concern the ventilated façade and the thermal insulation of the perimeter wall. The condominiums has take advantages from Superbonus 110% with payment of the works by invoice discount.
The intervention improves the living comfort of the buildings and the architectural quality of the condominium. The redevelopment generates a valorization of the real estate due to the seismic improvement and energy redevelopment.
The building has a ground floor for commercial use, seven floors for residential use and a condominium attic not heated. In the building there are 2 commercial units and 21 residential units.
Description of the situation
In the building there were windows and door-windows of different sizes that were repeated on each floor on a regular basis. There were different types of windows replaced by condominiums over time.
The windows were as follows:
- Wooden frame and single glass;
- Wooden frame and double glazing;
- Aluminum frame without thermal break and glass chamber;
- Aluminum frame thermal break and glass chamber.
The supporting structure was in reinforced concrete with empty box infills in 12 cm perforated bricks and boxes with curtain in cls. The attic accessible from the apartment buildings has been insulated towards extrados. In coverage, on the southern aquifer, have been installed photovoltaic panels and solar collectors.
Redevelopment
MIR Solution’s interventions brought the following improvement resolutions:

- Thermal insulation of the first floor floors towards porch and roof to attic
- Replacement of windows and doors in wood and triple glass
- Upgrading of balconies through restoration of fronts and flooring

The condominium in via Parini 9 has been redeveloped globally, passing from energy class G to class A1.
The condominiums not only enjoyed the energy efficiency resulting from the operations performed but were also able to take advantage of the support of MIR Solution of 110% Superbonus and the Credit Transfer. The economic expenditure on the part of the condominiums, therefore, has been greatly cushioned.
